So let's say we compare the pred role to that of a top, and the prey role to that of a bottom, is there a term for the vore equivalent to a switch?

I see most people say that it's also called a switch, at which point I'd like to bring an extra dimension into this: observers. are those who could be all three also called switches, or is there another term to further differentiate them?

I've also used "middling predator" for this too if that helps. Basically you want words that denote them as middle of the food chain--they are both prey and pred, the middle. they're not at the top of the food chain.

I would think that tag would be more apporate if deer is eating a wolf or Giraffe i eating a lion.
