External digestion in vore

Postby Aviannapper » Tue Jan 28, 2020 4:41 am

After capturing and poisoning their prey with their venom, spiders use systems of external digestion. They pump digestive enzymes into the wrapped prey's body and then suck the liquified tissues of the prey into the gut.
In the vore version, this can be either fatal or non-fatal, for example, I came up with a arachno race that feeds by liquefy the tissues of the fat layer of an immobilized prey, without killing it.
Are there any people here who like this way of digestion for vore? :?:
Is there any art about such type of vore? :?:

Wing vore would be a good example of this, though not as gruesome as spider-style digestion if that's what you were looking for.

Noting here that not all spiders do this. I don't recall any specific species by name, but there are a few that eat small insects and have teeth similar to those of ladybeetles, eating similar insect species (though some of the larger species will go after larger insects since aphids are tiny). Anyway, like Parallel here, I've read a few stories with this kind of vore act, but it was long ago and I don't recall if it was online or in physical print, so no links, sorreh.

This is sometimes called predigestive vore. It's not common in the community, but there are a handful of stories and maybe some visual art. I like it from time to time, myself. Later I might try and dig up some stuff to share.
I am open for art commissions or trades! See here for details.

Oh yeah! It's that thing that starfish do when they eat a shellfish or something similar. I'll say this, it would sound interesting if deployed in a fictional setting, but that's something I haven't encountered...yet.
You're probably wondering where I got this tan
