My family was watching the 1997 movie Anaconda a long time ago. My family was mostly talking and the TV more for background noise, but throughout the whole thing, I've seen this monster snake coil around people, but at the end, our heros trap the villain with a net and he ends up getting swallowed by the thing and I thought that was just the coolest thing ever. How it showed the inside of the snake's gullet and how it swallowed the guy alive and whole. I didn't know it was a fetish at the time, but as my curiosity grew, I came to learn the term as "vore" several years later. I also saw the Jungle Book and when Kaa coiled around Mowglie, I just thought the coils would be so smooth and soft and how much I really wanted to be inside of them. Ever since then, I'd just imagine being swallowed alive would feel so warm and soft and maybe even a little intimate if the prey and predator had a pre-existing relationship. I mostly like Snake Vore, since micro-macro isn't really possible, most animal bodies don't accommodate for swallowing people whole, and I really like seeing bulges of the prey moving around. I still wish to be swallowed alive by a snake, but still somehow manage to come out alive at the end of it with no death or digestion, which I imagine won't be possible within our life time. Until then, I'll stay the heck away from anything that wants to eat me. That's basically my fetish. My friends and family don't know I have a fascination with vore and I'm really only comfortable telling it here, because it's kinda common on this website

As a kid I did get a rather tingly sensation in my body from seeing vore stuff, also adrenalin. You know that feeling when the world is spinning and you start seeing "black" also, you feel stronger, the puls rises and the body is a shaky mess that is having a hard time just standing up straight. my reaction made him react so he starting to taunt me even more, saying things like "Oh, why is that making you so nervous all sudden. Is it something you want to tell me?" and then he continued with the pre vore talk. In the end, I was so filled up with adrenalin and other feelings that it is actually hard to recall that memory. That was how intense it was for my younger me.

I 1000% blame Yoshi. I'd play Yoshi's story a lot and go out of my way to eat as many enemies as possible even when it wasn't the most practical choice, or in Super Mario Advance 2 I'd just hang out on that one level with all the dolphins and let Yoshi binge.

I don't really link my introduction to vore with 'media' (if you don't include the internet), even if I did already see quite a bit of it. Mine might seem odd...

I think I was about age 10 (I'm 23 now) when I found MamaBliss's "Mindless Consumption" website while browsing the internet unsupervised like I usually did (my history with computers goes back to when I was a toddler with a Windows 98, and my parents didn't seem to care except that I was at least for a little while sharing the internet on their Windows XP before I got it for my room). Somehow, it was at this time that I managed to introduce myself to a lot of non-child-friendly things through fairly inconspicuous and innocuous(ly-named) websites (softcore porn on Wikimedia Commons, rule 34 on Encyclopedia Dramatica), and this was no exception. Now granted, I've seen so many children's media with vore in it by then that I couldn't possibly even name them all (Magic School Bus: For Lunch, The Pagemaster, Shrek, etc.), but of course, I don't think I understood vore as a concept (especially a very sexualized one) until something that happened around that time, and http://www.mindlessconsumption.com/ comes to mind first. Probably exposure to vore related themes in both young adult cartoons and video games.
Characters such as Yoshi and Kirby who's whole thing is eating opponents whole, or Nibbler from Futurama.
It wasn't until much later on that I found the name for what it was and from there was able to actually articulate my feelings into something understandable.

Probably just the Tiny Toons Summer Vacation movie! There were the Opossum family and the gator family, and both those scenes involved critters trying to eat the main bunnies. The alligator sisters especially! Wanting to get married so they could eat Buster? It was a lot! Hahaha. As a kid I was like, hoof... Yeah I like this. In Courage the Cowardly dog there were the pigs who ran the diner, and they had a lot of vorey / flirty stuff they were saying that planted a seed in me as a kid.
And uh, Maurice Sendak might have gotten me a bit! I loved his books as a kid, and I later learned he equated eating things as the highest form of love. That's why so many of his narratives involve kids getting eaten, or the threat of that! So yeah all those things were my first exposure to what would later be a vore kink, I think.

For me, it might have started when I was a kid growing up in the 90s watching cartoons like Tom and Jerry and Looney Tunes or reading books like Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf and the Seven Kids. I always got so disappointed everytime a character managed to avoid getting eaten, or was eaten but managed to escape, but I never knew why.
At the time, I was always a bit interested in the bellies and butts of the girls in my class (even at such a young age), always imagining what it was like inside and I wasn't sure why.
I don't recall what started this fetish of mine for real, but I think it might have been the infamous episode in Animaniacs where Rita ate Pinky. I remember being so obsessed with that scene and wishing the episode had been longer. And I wished Rita had gotten to eat more characters through her episodes (which she never did).

Since then it only grew as I got older until I'm where I am today.

I used to play this game with my brother and sister, where I was a giant slug monster (I'd hide under a blanket and crawl along the floor) and I'd chase them and eat them by putting the blanket over them. Then they had to crawl around with me and it got trickier the more people were under. I was always the slug monster, and it is one of my most vivid memories of my early childhood (I was probably 4-7)

I also remember Jurassic park making me feel embarrassed, and I really liked the movie but didn't like watching it with other people. Then I found vore when I was going through puberty and it all clicked. Who knows what caused it, but it's been with me since I was young.

Hm. A handful of different things come to mind that might count.

Joana and the Whale seems like it would have been my earliest exposure to something of the sort. I still don't know what the moral of that story was supposed to be, but I recall various depictions of it in different media catching my attention oddly.

I think after that Transformers: The Movie would be another formative point. It had some interesting vore elements when it came to Unicron. The vats of acid that Bumblebee and Spike nearly died (and some random decepticon extras who weren't so lucky) in and the bit where Unicron Picks up Galvatron between his thumb and forefinger and swallows him stand out to me. I remember reacting emotionally in a way I didn't quite undertstand to those scenes as a kid but I think it was more horror than anything else. Potential source of things? Who can say.

Later on, there would be the Deku tree, Jabu Jabu, like-likes, the moon, and gyorg from Legend of Zelda Oot/MM, and even later on than that the deku babas and forest haven boss from Wind Waker. Lots of weird fascination with things from those games that I would only really notice that I had even had later.

There's also at least 3 cartoons I can think of where there was an episode that involved a character gaining huge amounts of weight that at some point included them eating or attempting to eat other characters. These were probably the most formative to my early vore fantasies, which were primarily weight gain based. Also Willy Wonka, more on the inflation side of things.

I think the thing that REALLY started me down the path to getting into fetish shit was this one book I found in the school library in like, 5th grade or something. Someone had obtained a magic chain that could be shrunk to a hair and back with a magic word, and had tricked the villain into eating it and expanded it in their stomach, incapacitating them and leaving them visibly bloated. By then enough puberty had happened that some of these ideas were starting to make me confused about my feelings in a whole other way.

From there I resolved to google bloating as much as possible, and eventually stumbled into an anime inflation/expansion/vore forum where I learned why the hell I was so obsessed with this idea of expanding stomachs in the first place and how to find more. It's been a downhill train wreck avalanche ever since.

For me it first notably started after watching the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers episode featuring the Terror Toad monster, which successfully vored four of the rangers. After that I would roleplay as a power ranger being defeated by various monsters and I'd imagine being eaten up as a consequence of my defeat (I'd enact the entire event, with falling and writhing, etc; which always left me with a tingly, butterfly feeling in my stomach.

It was also about that time that my fantasies of imps eating me in my bed began; where I'd imagine an imp-like monster was at the end of my bed and I, figuring that it wanted to eat me, would take off all of my clothes as I figured the clothes would get in the way of the imp being able to taste me (as I myself didn't like the feel of clothes on my tongue).

My first look at "All Things Vore" was from Doctor Who, with the Abzorbaloff. I remember watching the episode and being weirdly fascinated by it. A few months later, I found some clips from the Abzorbaloff scene on Youtube and got very excited while watching them. However, I mistook this rush of adrenaline as fear, which made me panic so I deleted the tab and walk away, feeling slightly grossed out by myself.

A few years later, Where the Wild Things Are came out in cinemas and I went to go see it. In the film, there's a scene when the child is running away from one of the monsters so, in a bid to hide, one of the friendlier monsters tells him to hide in their belly. After the other monster abandons the chase, the boy has a conversation with the friendly monster from inside the belly. While it didn't bring about the exact same feelings as the Abzorbaloff incident, I liked the intimate feel for some reason, and it definitely influenced my taste in vore, wether or not I knew I was into vore at the time.

Eventually, after learning what Vore was, I soon realised that I was indeed, for better or for worse, into this shit. I soon discovered I was into many facets of vore, many of which however tended to stay on the "Soft Vore" end of things (Thanks 'Where The Wild Things Are'). To this day though, I'm still into the idea of the Abzorbaloff and, considering its vore potential, I'm a tad disappointed that the idea hasn't caught on that much on this platform, or anywhere else on the internet really. Still, I'll take what little I can get!
