Re: Vore in video games

So there's this new fighting horror game coming out called Terrordrome: Reign of the Legends. The first Terrordrome game was a fighting fangame where a bunch of horror icons like Ghostface and Chucky duked it out. However, it seems for this newest installment they are actually trying to start a professional game and make money off of it, so they are doing more generic non-copyrighted horror icons. For example, the roster revealed so far is Sasquatch, the Neverman (riff on Slenderman), Bloody Mary, Van Hellsing, and Frankenstein. Some upcoming teased characters are Dracula and "The White Lady" (a spirit). Anyways, I just wanted to give a short explanation for anyone who might be confused about anything. Here are the actual vore scenes shown so far:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkLnCw4vhWs

@1:44- Bloody Mary seems to have the ability to summon these blood serpents as part of her moveset. For her finisher attack, she summons a giant one, which grabs the enemy, tosses them around, before swallowing them whole. You see a giant bulge go down the neck as it swallows them. The text on screen says "Eaten Alive".

@4:19- Neverman is a riff on Slenderman, as mentioned before. He seems to have more of a tooth theme though as both his eyes are just mouths and he has a briefcase which I guess is a part of him or something? It has teeth, and for his finisher he opens up his briefcase wide (which just looks like a giant maw) and slams the enemy down into the briefcase which devours them whole. The text on screen says, "Swallowed Whole".

There is also a scene in the official trailer of the game of his briefcase finishing swallowing up a person (you see their arm getting swallowed).

Finally, I mentioned that they are teasing some upcoming characters. Well, there is one more I didn't mention which what appears to be a maneating clown. I thought that it would just be a hardvore sort of deal, but reading through his bio, his name is "T.H.I.S." and he is a lab experiment gone wrong. Think "The Thing" where it is actually a flesh blob deal, where T.H.I.S. stands for "Tactical Hybrid Ingestion System" and his bio makes it sound as though he swallows things whole before going into hibernation so be on the lookout for him in the future.

In the game Carrion you play as an Eldritch creature and vore people! You can even have several mouths.
The game is a side scrolling action horror puzzle game.

Man, I just saw that one too. That was pretty good. Beautiful fairy, detailed frog, nice swallow. And plus, no escape at the end either. Reminds me of a scene from another CGI video, maybe from Shrek? Except in that scene the fairy escapes. I like it when their fate is sealed.

Completely unaware and happy fairy girl, then she suddenly switched to terror, then the pan to the frog as the fairy most entered the mouth, then a pause before the swallow, and the narrator's quote.

Such a wonderous sequence.

In Metroid 2 and its remakes, you can morphball during the Queen Metroid fight and get swallowed by her.

They pulled Fable 3 from Steam (People who bought it no longer have access to it either, unless they managed to install it beforehand.) This was mainly because Games for Windows Live stopped / shut down. Fallout 3 was last updated to get rid of GFWL, to make it standalone. (This caused them to upgrade everyone to GOTY with all DLC included.)

Fable 2 is still unavailable digitally, anywhere (for PC.) You still have to buy it physically for PC if there are still copies circulating. (Much like old Halo on PC until MCC came along.)

The first Fable is available on Steam as a "remaster." (There are bugs in this version that prevent you from getting the good end, despite you choosing good ending things. This probably has something to do with them bundling the "expansion" into the base game's code.)

Fable Legends was Cancelled: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fable_Legends

And Fable: The Journey was poorly received: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fable:_The_Journey (It required kinect anyway.)

I think it was just a show that Fable isn't going to hold too much back. I mean, the first game they burnt your town to the ground, killed your mother to power an evil sword, and even let you murder your sister to empower it further. The games have had some pretty dark themes in them from time to time. Nothing overly oppressive but often enough they were there. Especially Fable 3 having several things your brother did being "above and beyond bad." I think you had the reaction they intended, the fairy's death was to be shocking, sudden, and a dark little twist.

Not even that. Someone had to make an art for it. It's not easy to sneak a card in.

The new video survival game 'Grounded' is excellent and worth keeping an eye open for. Very reminiscent of "Honey I Shrunk The Kids". But it does love to drop f**king spiders on you from out of nowhere. I have Arachnophobia and the fact that they can easily one-hit-kill you is infuriating.

It's still in early access, so nothing yet except the potential. It would be fun to have accidental vore from a neighbor's dog if you got into the houses.
