Exceptionally gross content ahead, don't read if you like innocent round human female tummies with a shy "gurgle" written on top.
Things I like:
A contact with pred's internal energy. This often comes in form of bodily liquids, not limited to just gastric juice. Saliva, bile, cum, snot, all those secretions of obscure internal glands etc. The more disgusting the better. Because when the prey immerses into pred's bodily liquids, the confrontation starts between pred's inner (more organic) self and prey's external (more social) integrity. This doesn't have to happen inside the pred's body. I would enjoy a scene in which huge pred spits onto a tiny prey, and prey starts to drown in the monstrous pile of viscous mucus. I also like webbing (or spider web bondage) when a spider covers a live prey with his web, which is technically a vessel for spider's internal energy. And I like dragon breath, when it's not explained by magic or anything supernatural, but rather an energy collected by the dragon's body; in that case I totally wouldn't mind being torched/frozen/dissolved by acid spit.
Food play. I like prey to be equal in rights to a food. Prey can be chewed together with food, swallowed with food, digested and mixed up with liquefied food up to the point of becoming impossible to separate from the remains of food.
A body machine. Preds with elaborate, bizarre and somewhat machine-like anatomy. I love it when the pred has multiple stomachs, or multiple paths for food inside his body. When the digestion is not a simple submerge-dissolve process, but a complicated set of steps that the pred's body performs to process its food. My favorite anatomical oddity are orifices in stomach walls that pour in acid. Overall, I prefer stuff to be poured onto prey rather than just secreted by walls. I also like the idea of prey becoming one of pred's internal organs, being forced to serve his body.
Degradation. When prey is gradually being used up by the pred's body, spent on anything he wishes, and burned down to a state of useless organic waste. This is the peak of confrontation between pred's internal and prey's external self, and their inevitable merger. The prey enters the state that one vore-related psychology article dubbed "the strongest imaginable opposite of loneliness". I also like the idea of the prey being corrupted/infected by the pred's diseases, but only if they are mostly safe to the pred. For example, stomach parasites, or infectious mucus in esophagus. This emphasizes on a contrast between two confronting selfs.
Injustice. A pred that is less smart, slower or otherwise inferior to his prey by some criteria. A humble servant swallowing his master, or a village girl unbirthing a seemingly powerful dragon (who just happens to be shrunk down by accident). Injustice and humiliation act as a great catalyst for pleasure in vore for me.
Post-post-vore. Most people who like scat tend to end the story with a toiled. "Then she flushed, and lived happily ever after. The end". I like to describe what happens a bit further. The prey is certainly not alive, but it is conscious of what's going on. In the sewer, the prey joins the remains of previous preys and food, to amplify the overwhelming sense of despair and disgust. Here we celebrate the prey's defeat in battle against the pred's internal energy, but in the next round the fight continues, this time the prey is being confronted by the pred's refuse, his internal self continues to assault the prey by polluting it. Also, the pred might flush down certain objects, like condom or a chewing gum. This combines very well with the whole injustice part.
Opposite pred types. I have two favorite types of predators. One is small, cute and seemingly fragile, but dexterous and playful, usually female. Another type is large, powerful and seemingly undefeatable, usually male. The first one emphasizes on "injustice" kink, the second one is more about "body machine", I like them equally. Usually they are dragons, but I like many other creatures too, including humans.
Thing I don't like:
Ethereal creatures. Angels, demons, ghosts etc. A guaranteed, instant 100% turn off, especially regarding demons. Even if the character does not seem to have any demonic features, but an artist says it is a demon, then I can't enjoy his art any more. Then I go and delete all pictures by that artist from my hard drive. I'm not a religious fanatic, but in my firm belief those creatures are real enough to avoid having any business with them.
Elephants, pigs, goats. Believe it or not, the demon of gluttony looks exactly like an anthro elephant with a huge belly. Obviously, we the vore people should avoid the demon of gluttony. As for the other two, I'm not writing it because by now most people already think I'm nuts.
Human male preds. But human female preds are ok. Human preys or non-human preds can also be of any gender.
Diapers, soiling, scat eating. An act of disposal is an important step in vore, during which the pred detaches from prey, condemning it to a more humiliating stage of interaction with his internal energy. The pred is meant to relieve his body from waste products that burden him, the waste is meant to be distanced from him. Otherwise entire rite is going to be spoiled!
Magic. When magic is used to explain certain things, it feels very uncomfortable to me because it is not restricted by the same laws as anything else. I prefer technology; even if it does look as unrealistic as magic, the limitations applied to technology are much more believable. Compare "we cannot shoot shrink ray again because we're out of power cells" to "we cannot turn you back into princess because we're out of raven eyes for the potion". The second one sound a lot more random, right?
Bulges. When it comes to the aforementioned confrontation, what I'd hate to see is fair fight. The superiority of pred's energy shouldn't be questioned. If pred has to lay down with a huge belly, it means that he is struggling in this fight. I'll gladly accept small lumps going down the pred's gullet as he swallows, but no bloated stomachs. This doesn't prevent me from occasionally enjoying same-size scenarios, in which the prey is squeezed to a tiny volume while in the stomach.
Hyper. When I see a character with hyper body part, I cannot help but feel sorry for the poor thing. Such preds are fighting against their own internal energy in form of oversized organs, they are not suitable for the rite.
