It's been a while, so time for another video. A GBH catches and swallows a gopher. This avid photographer has lots of other heron feeding videos on his channel, too.

GBH gulps down three live birds seemingly one after another. I wonder if there's a full version of this somewhere out and about where you can see them all going down. That would be pretty neat. I meant to post it when I found it literally three hours after it was uploaded, somehow, but forgot to until just now when I got a new post notification.

I like this channel's GBH videos, he focuses on the prey in the bird's mouth and lingers on the throat bulge during swallowing.

Some raw and uncut nature footage, heron swallows a rodent alive on a windy day. I like how after the swallow, the heron just tilts his head back and relaxes for over a minute allowing the prey to slide slowly down.

New video of some heron-vs-gopher action. The second feeding is really impressive; that was a big fat gopher swallowed dry. This is one of the only channels on youtube consistently uploading heron feeding vids.
