"not sure why critics giving movie such shit, i thought good, yeah basically setting up new hannang barabara universe but still told decent scooby doo story, i mean didn't do much not already done before."

Movie critics seem to be a lot more critical of kid's movies not made by Pixar or Disney. Toy Story 4, which I think is a genuinely bad movie, has a 97% score on Rotten Tomatoes, while Hotel Transylvania, which I generally enjoyed, only has a 44%. It also probably doesn't help that the Scooby Doo series faces the same problem that a lot of other really old continuing series like Tom & Jerry has where newer creators just aren't sure how to adapt the characters and gimmicks for a modern audience, and as such it's now generally seen as a franchise which only younger kids can really get into.

Another problem is and read critiques, they keep comparing this movie to james gunns live movie, that don't hold candle i mean, live movie vs cgi one two different mediums.

Mean i didn't think greatest scooby doo movie of all time, still goes to scooby doo on zombie island, who hell could ever, make one that holds candle to that.

Yeah, to go into detail about the scene:

They summon Cerberus. Cerberus picks up scooby doo, licks his lips, and then opens his maw and is about to throw Scooby in. Blue Falcon goes into Cerberus's maw with Scooby and prevents Cerberus from shutting his mouth. Cerberus does shut his mouth but Blue Falcon forces it back open again. Good maw shots if you are into that.

Anyways, I really got nothing out of the movie besides a realization that the new Dynomutt design would make a pretty good pred because of how stretchy his body parts are. Though, there does exist official canon vore/absorbtion with Dynomutt as the pred already thankfully. I already posted it once before in this thread but I figure its a good time to bring this back up:

I take it we have already done Kingsman and the Golden Circle where one of the henchmen transitions into being a burger?

So i've stumbled upon bits of the show Grizzly and Lemmings and it seems like there is good potential for some vore or at least maw shots from the bear character.
You can see some good mouth and throat detail from just this short clip, right at the beginning as the bear is shown snoring: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4OrJXGLCwQ

This show has a lot of short episodes - including one where the bear becomes a giant - another where he is battling a tiny superpowered fly has potential too. But finding specific and full eps is hard, seems like it's a show that's mostly shown in the EU. Maybe some posts have been made that i missed but i wanted to bring this to people's attention here! :3

They're up on Kimcartoon. Checked those two episodes out (XXL Bear and Tasty Fly), but alas, nothing worthwhile. Could be something good in another episode, though. >.>

I have seen most episodes but so far the stuff i found is that a lemming accidentaly gulps a spider and same episode grizzy gulps a fly. (https://youtu.be/c8DweKCNwBM)
Theres another one where the lemming are playing on grizzy's belly and one of them lands in his mouth but sadly gets spit out. (https://youtu.be/uBaz_I9ZPao)
Thats about it so far, theres a few episodes out there i havent seen so maybe there still hope.

Some more eps of the long lost Nightmare Ned series surfaced with one ep ive never seen before featuring some giant fish vore;
The episode Willie Trout, Ned gets swallowed by a giant trout and ends up spending a good portion of the episode inside Willie's stomach: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87pHoR4Rr7o (starts at 5:23)

Episode The Dentist has Ned inside his own mouth (i think) where he is chased around by dentists and monsters and makes friends with the taste buds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DuBUYabya6U (starts at 13:50)

This was an interesting show with some decent animation. Made by Disney too... 8O

Yeah saw that with cererbus, like monster, not sure why critics giving movie such shit, i thought good, yeah basically setting up new hannang barabara universe but still told decent scooby doo story, i mean didn't do much not already done before.

But i still thought pretty good.

I understand where at least some of the criticism comes from.

Personally I think they wasted a golden opportunity to reveal Scooby was Cerebus in mortal form all along. Him and Shaggy fall out, giving the earlier scene where he'll never take off his collar present a meaningful echo. Could've lead to several near-vore situations, or Shaggy imploring Scooby in a "I know you're in there somewhere" fight in the center of the mind.

This whole lockdown and COVID19 really hasn't helped the entertainment industry either... sigh...

For anyone who hasn't seen it, there was the Japan-release only, Amada Anime Series of Super Mario Bros. One of the OVAs was based on the Japanese fairy tale Issun-bōshi, "The One-Inch Boy". Fascinating how cultures overlap each other sometimes, since we have Tom Thumb in the West from English folklore, which also coincidentally has vore. Here, Mario gets swallowed up by Bowser.

I'm baffled as to why DiC couldn't make Bowser look like Bowser in their cartoon, since this predates it by a year or so. Would've made episodes like Mario meets Koopzilla more satisfying IMO.

Another little vorish bit from the new Tom and Jerry series on CN Boomerang- a couple of female mice are searching the mansion for their husbands and end up taking a look inside Tom. Sadly no internals.
