What turns you on/off about Vore?

Just of curiosity, what part of the Vore that turns people on or off? Everything about X character eating/swallowing Y character? Or only wen they are held inside the mouth? Maybe just the prey sitting inside their warm, squishy bellies?

I mostly like vore if its a fish, or a whale being the predator. After being swallowed, that felling you get when you are forced to be carried away by the predator. I also like when the prey and predator are friends, but the predator eats/swallows the prey anyway, just to protect them from danger.

In video games, it's usually a loss of a life, or game over when you get eaten by general enemies. But there are certain games where its actually part of the story where you have to go into the characters belly.

Although I'm usually mixed when it comes to the predator. Whether I want it co chase me, or I want to make friends with it, and let it protect me in its belly by swallowing me. As long as it is NOT violent/hard vore, but as long as it is cute, friendly vore, it ALWAYS turns me on!

I think it's an interesting topic. So what if it has been brought up before. It can take to be discussed again. It's interesting to read about what turns people on or off and it doesn't necessarily need to be used as a soapbox for people to complain. I don't think anybody did that. They just told about what they liked and didn't like. I see nothing wrong with that.

Too many things to list really, I guess I could keep it really simplistic but it seems so copy-paste'y so I'm just going to go into a bunch of random things.

I like cooking/hard vore/cannibalism (willing or submissive, not unwilling) and I'm totally okay with it if bones are left over but what I don't like is when the head is mounted or something. I want the entire person to be consumed by the pred and leaving the head feels like it is unfinished, it's not as intimate anymore.

Vore to me is supposed to be intimate to some degree which is why I like willing or submissive but can't really stand outright unwilling vore. If the vore is ambiguously unwilling then I can just pretend that the person isn't "struggling for their life" but rather that they are mildly struggling because they don't want to admit to the pred that they actually like it. But when it is outright unwilling where the prey is screaming for their life or something it's just... Cruel... I don't like it at all. Vore is about intimacy for me no matter if it is soft, hard, absorbation or soul vore and I need to be able to spin it that the prey actually does want it. But when a part of that prey is left over it loses that intimacy.

Something else that I really enjoy is when there is a hero (preferably female but male works too) from a proper franchise (preferably an RPG or something) that is on a big heroic quest but then gets nommed by someone and it's amazing when the hero is eaten by the villain, again in a willing or submissive way. Like, here the hero has been working so hard towards achieving their goal to stop blablablabla from doing blablablabla and when he/she finally confronts the villain he/she wants to be dominated by him/her/it. There was this comic someone made where the Dragonborn from Skyrim got eaten by a girl by a campfire and that one was amazing. There's also the Fallout vore stuff with Nightstalkers that I really enjoy.

But I can be picky about that. If the hero is unrecognizable as the hero or if the pred is unrecognizable as anything from the setting then I can't relate to it and it just seems like any other vore pic. There needs to be something definitive that it is part of franchise X and it is far better if the hero, pred and even environment are all recognizable from the franchise source.

I also like it when pets eat their owners but it needs to be within reason. Like a cat eating a human (supposedly same-size) doesn't make much sense to me, either the bulge is as big as it should be and it looks ridiculous or it isn't as big as it ought to be and I can't imagine that a human is actually inside of the pet. I also don't care for pets that are too exotic. Like someone having a tiger for a pet, don't get me wrong I get that there are people who do have tigers as pets but I want something that I can easily relate to, something that could happen in the city I live in or whatever.

Now onto something more general. I like it when the pred is dominating but I don't really like it when the pred is an asshole/douchebag/bitch. Again, it is about intimacy and it's lost when the pred is clearly not giving a flying fuck about whoever they ate and don't consider them to be anything but dirt. But it is kind of tricky to explain what kind of attitude turns me off. A royalty or femme fatale eating someone and then acting like it is a privilege to become part of their body is hot. A rich white girl eating someone and then feeling like she's entitled to eat you because she's she is hot. Someone eating you and then making fun or them is not hot. Someone eating someone and then being cruel about how you're nothing but shit (literally in a few hours/days) is not hot.

Onto male preds, I like manly men. Big muscular men and if they have a good mustache I might faint. I don't really care for any other kind of male (human) pred. I'm a guy myself and when it comes to men I want them to be able to dominate me and it just doesn't feel like proper domination if they can't physically restrain me with ease. A man that looks like I could take him is just going to feel staged if they try to dominate me. So I really want male preds to be tall, muscular or fat and not have "pretty"-looking faces. So if there is a drawing of a male barbarian devouring a petite thief then that is hot. But you know those Hunter (left 4 dead) vore drawings? Yeah, I don't like the Hunter. Doesn't matter if he could easily pin me down he just doesn't look physically heavy enough to keep me down. It doesn't mean that I would want to struggle, on the contrary. I just want whoever that is going to devour me or the person in the drawing to be properly dominating.

And to add further to it, when it comes to m/m I like my fantasies a lot more than I like looking at porn of it. I dunno what it is. I find it more... Romantic? When I can fantasize about a man than I find it to watch two men engage in something. I guess it's because I'm not a part "of it". So with vore? I like M/F and don't feel much if anything for M/M (though there have been exceptions). If a man is going to be dominated by another man then I want it to be me and the only way I can get that is in my fantasies.
