Well, first, let me define more of what I like about vore. The biggest idea for me is the idea that the prey can do something to the pred... make an impact on their appearance, make the pred feel something, etc. So I like big swallows and belly bulges quite a bit. So, interestingly, the things that got to me as a kid rarely involved a LIVING pred. Anything that had the pred swallowing more than it should be able to handle. Things like a Golden Grahams commercial with a kid filling his mouth with crackers and swallowing them in one humongous gulp, one of the ghosts from Casper stuffing himself with food that shouldn't have been able to fit in him, that rat from Ratatouille that ate the entire bunch of grapes. Those kinds of things.

I did get a teensy thrill when I saw them, but nothing really noticeable. It was only when I went to bed that night that my imagination began to run amok and play the scenes over and over, embellishing them to be even weirder, keeping me from sleeping because my mind wouldn't shut up. I kept thinking that they gave me a tummyache to think about (I presumed because they were gross things to consider), and I was always scared of those nights because it would take me ages to fall asleep in peace.

Wasn't until I was older, and I asked myself, "Wait a minute... why do these tummyaches make me want to rub my crotch?" did I realize there might be something to it. Shortly after I learned about vore, and now I am at peace with myself.

I actually can't remember a time when soft vore didn't arouse me. I was totally fascinated by anything soft vore related at a very young age, even masturbated to it in cartoons even though I was only about 5 or so. I was terrified of being violently eaten by sharks or by monsters, but that didn't start having a sexual meaning for me until recent years. I was really into Little Red Riding Hood, the dragon vore scene in The Pagemaster, the lizard in Fern Gully, etc.

It's funny but my feelings about vore kind of went dormant once I hit puberty, at least I didn't acknowledge or really analyze my interest until I was about 16. I think I might have repressed it or simply was too busy thinking about sex (hit puberty at 10 and was thinking about sex since I was eight). Once I found furry websites I found vore and was actually kind of grossed out by the fact that it was a thing and went really into denial about it. Obviously I have it all sorted out now!

Whenever I tell people about this thing they ask me if I had a bad childhood or something. Truthfully I probably had the most normal happy childhood possible!

I was more of freaked out when I found out about vore. This still makes me laugh to this day, I had a vore dream and when I woke up I tried stretching out my mouth to see if it was a dream or not, turns out I can't make my mouth that wide, X.X. I wasn't troubled by it at all apparently, I was just interested, and weirded out about this new fantasy, it was pretty much the same reaction as me starting to like girls awhile back.

that was the same with me when I was 6-10, after I started to think about othere things (usualy vore related) but Intentionally to keep me awake because I enjoyed the thoughts and ideas, it wasn’t until I was about 15 when I related them to vore, and came to grips with the fact that I like it, now still up to this day my mind is as rest and I feel a state of happiness and euphoria when ever I think about it.

It never bothered me as a kid. If fact, that is when I first started getting into it (not knowing what it was at the time). I always wanted to be engulfed by a blob like in the movie. I used to pretend my sleeping bag was a snake and it would swallow me. It's not the wanting to die, but the sensation of being swallowed.

Quite the opposite, really. When I was little, I had odd feelings about characters being eaten in cartoons (like the infamous wolverine vore in Tiny Toon Adventures). I was fascinated by the idea and anything that had to do with women's bellies. I remember feeling guilty about it and only when I hit puberty did I really start to realize that I was a hopeless voraphile.

ABSOLUTELY!
I remember my childhood with starling clarity. Many, many movies I watched as a kid had vore-type situations in them, and I remember being fascinated by them as a small child. Then, around third grade or so, I started to shy away from vore scenes...I remember Disney's Peter Pan was particularly distressing for me. When I was about 15, however, I was introduced to the word 'vore', and realized that I was no longer afraid of hearing the word 'stomach' or 'belly' or 'digestion', but, instead was turned on by the idea of one thing devouring another. My fears as a child finally made sense; I remembered watching my pet snakes swallowing live fish and worms, seeing videos of dragons eating princes, and all those many things that had one greatly disturbed me all at once felt erotic, and I realized I'd felt that way the whole time, but hadn't known it.
Today, I still shy away from vore scenes - but only when I'm around others. I'm happy knowing that there are hundreds of others like me, and am most content with my understanding of my likes and dislikes.

Yah I was the same way, I still feel uncomfortable when I half to or if others discuss it around me, like back in high school I was taking biology and we spent 2 months on the digestive system. The bio chemistry is fascinating but it was still sort of awkward at times, but for the most part after learning about vore it doesn’t bother me as much.

I don't think I was ever disturbed by vore. Ever. I was always finding pleasure in one thing eating another.

There was this book I remember reading when I was in grade school - it was the 3 Little Pigs, from the Wolf's point of view. He kept getting a bigger stomach after every pig, and I loved it.
I also remember having this almost life-sized dolly that wore a bonnet, and I would sit in my room, alone, and pretend to be a big, bad wolf that ate her, then stuff it under my shirt and lay on my bed, rubbing my 'belly'.

So...I suppose I didn't have a 'discomfort' time. It was all pleasure for me.

Personally, as far back as I can remember I have always been fascinated with being swallowed alive, or at least one way or another being inside of a large creature. The key has always been, and still is, that the person be alive the entire time. Now that I think about it, it does seem weird that the only difference between my fantasy as a child and as an adult is the sexual aspect. It seems that most people's fantasy seems to change or evolve (though I have become more open to M/f over the years)

Yes

I used to have dreams were a giant frog or perhaps it was a toad, would swallow me. And being swallowed by a hippo and living inside its belly until I was digested. Things of that nature, never really made sense of them up til June of this year when I stumbled across a vore comic of Tsunade eating Hinata. Till this day, it is still one of the hotter vore comics I've scene and well, the rest is history.

i never really connected with it till i read this article, but since the age of 5 or6 i would get out my favorite life magazine article[rita hayworth] and maturbate while imagining that she was swallowing me. all these years later i find there is a name for it, vore.now at age 56 i understand that i may have been relatively normal and the vore never had an adverse affect on me. i've never hurt anybody because of it and lead a normal life.i guess in a small way vore is not a danger in the right mind.

Yes I had constant nightmares about being cooked and it totally freaked me out.
Cartoons and stuff like that I was scared of then until I started to become older, I started to like the ideas of my nightmares.
When I started to learn how to cook I fantasised about different recipes, non sexually at first then when I hit puberty sexually mainly because I felt strange that I couldn't fantasise about women and women didn't turn me on. I was scared of my sexuality basically.
Now I have found a name for it and a community I'm fine with it, its a weird fetish but still everyone has them and I'm happy with my gay vorey self.
Why would I want to dance in a place like this? All the girls are slags and the beer tastes just like piss.

56? Goodness... Better late than never, then. I remember I was relieved when I discovered the name to my strange fantasies, and the fact I wasn't alone, shortly before my 26th birthday.

And you're quite right, of course. Vore is a harmless fantasy, as long as it reminds purely in the mind. Welcome to Eka's! :)

Wow, I always knew the definitive moments in my life that turned me into a Vorephile, but reading this thread has shown me that there was really no way I wouldn't have this fetish. Ever since I was young vore has been an integral, and unrecognized, part of my life.First off, I've been fascinated with dinosaurs. This was something everyone who knew me was aware of, and accepted (Actually played a game called "raptor" with a bunch of girls in 1st and second grade where I was an evil raptor who's goal was to capture and eat them) So no one ever gave me crap about having things eating other things. Then there is fact that I have always taken great satisfaction in eating, to the point that my friends use to make fun of me because I always ed closed my eyes while I savored the flavor of my food.

These sort of played background noise to my mind, until I saw MIB 2. MY GOD! That vore scen in the beginning really messed with me. I really didn't have a firm idea of sex when I watched it, except that it involved a man and a woman. So when Seleena ate that thug, I just made the connection that sex=food/vore.

Fast forward to when I was going through puberty. During this time I had been playing the final fantasy games, and became obsessed with naga's and driders. My first sexual fantasies had me as a giant naga having sex with a female naga(It was just the sex ball, since I knew how snakes had sex, but still didn't know how people had sex). After this me and my mate would leave the bed chamber and eat our sacrifices(hundreds of women for me, and a mixture of men and women for her). These dreams/fantasies were replaced with a new kind, one where I was the only man on a planet of female/humanoid species, who all fought to capture me, since if they ate or unbirthed me my DNA would shift theirs, allowing for them to repopulate their species. (My first "release" came when I though about a hot asian spider girl banging me on a spider web). Think was that I never viewed myself as normal, and figured that this was different from most people, so I kept my mouth shut about it.Then I saw porn on HBO and drifted from my vore origins, till about 3 years ago when I stumbled upon Karbo's work when searching for nagas on youtube. Since then I've lurked on the site till now since I may or may not have been 18.

(Sorry for the length, but this is honestly the first time I have ever talked about my vore fetish)
