DMDracoMoondragon wrote:You know, now that I think about it, vore's never really bothered me much, either. I think it all started when I was about 9 when I first played Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. I think it was World 3-4 where you ended up being shrunk down and eaten by a frog, and the boss battle was in its stomach. I found that level somewhat enjoyable, but I didn't know then that it would be the beginning of one of my biggest fetishes. It really started to manifest with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. After a few playthroughs, I started to realize just how cool it was inside that fish, and I sometimes imagined that I had been shrunk down and eaten by Princess Ruto (I had a little bit of a crush on her at that time.) Then, Shrek came around, and that dragon was so cool, and even oddly attractive. I love watching when she swallows the king. You can actually see a small bulge go down her throat. That's gotta be my favorite part of the movie. It wasn't until about a year ago, though, that I found out that this is actually a fairly common fetish. It was the works of the vore art legend Karbo that really cemented my fetish. It was then that I realized just how sexy it was to be consumed by a beautiful woman (or even a dragoness in some cases) and then become a part of her.

Sorry if that was long-winded, but at least it explained things fairly well, to me, anyway.

That's also sort of how my vore interest started. I was 9 at the time, and vore still bothered me. I, also, was playing Yoshi's Island and remember the battle with Prince Froggy. I liked that battle and kept coming back to fight Prince Froggy, even though I always made me feel uneasy. Jabu's Jabu's Belly in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time somewhat creeped me out, but not as much as that boss scene in Yoshi's Island. When I was into Pokemon, I would always fantasize about the main characters being swallowed by a Gyarados. The dragon scene in Shrek and the whale scene in Finding Nemo still made me feel uneasy, but not much. My fear didn't totally go away until around early 2005, when I got interested in Inuyasha. I was looking at pictures of episode 167, and when I found out that Inuyasha and the others were lured into the stomach of a large demon. Naraku then brought the demon to life. That meant the cave they were in was now a demon's stomach with lots of stomach acid. I kept looking at the screenshots of the stomach scene, and that's when I learned that Kagome Higurashi risked her life to help Inuyasha by embracing him. As she was doing so, her feet got burned by stomach acid. I have always been a Kagome fanboy, and her bravery in that episode and episode 98 made me like her even more. I finally got to see the episode dubbed in English on October 27, 2006. I taped it, so I could watch it anytime. I purchased the DVD that featured this episode when it was released in late June of 2007. In late 2009, I was browsing deviantART, and found Ryoukitten's vore picture of Kagome. I looked up vore on wikipedia and found out what it meant. It wasn't until late March/early April of 2010 I found about this site. I was unsure about joining the site but eventually I joined almost 4 years after discovering Eka's. I only have an interest in oral vore and stomach scenes.

It all started for me when I was 3. The gingerbread man book made me like vore. But I was never ashamed of it. Until I found out about vore. And that was when my small sexual fantasy expanded into what it is today.

When I was really young, like around 5-12 years old, I sometimes dreamed of things trying to engulf/envelope/eat me and sometimes they were terrifying and other times they were more enjoyable. I imagined getting wrapped up or swallowed by the more friendly creatures would be comfortable, soft, and warm. Even the terrifying things I slowly desensitized myself to the more I thought on them. When I hit puberty, I started to develop a fetish for round bellies and ending up in them. I guess it was the process of being pulled in and surrounded in soft warmth that appealed to me the most, and still does appeal to me. It was what I imagined as being a safe and carefree existence in the body of a stronger creature that cared for me and protected me from the outside world.

Oh...When I was little I felt very uncomfortable when someone was eaten in a cartoon. But ONLY if there was other people in the room. But vore it self, with myself was the best thing in the whole world! I remember seeing a movie with a lot of vore in it! It was almost ridiculous how much vore it was in that movie ^^; My parents where in the same room so my excuse for not seeing it was always "I need to go to the toilet" So I really missed out alot of the vore scenes. But in the end of the film the TV hoist said that it will continue in the middle of the night.

So in the middle of the night I woke up and watched all the vore all by myself. It was really special to have this first time alone vore moment. I was 6 years old. One of my favorite vore moments ever ^_____^

And yeah, when the opportunity was there, I was always fantasizing about getting eaten back then. Especially before bedtime, In the bathtub, in the bed or in the car if the trip was long and boring. So vore was something i Really (Like Really!) liked back then. But not in a sexual way.

Oh man, now I miss my childhood so bad ^^;

When I was little I thought that everyone was like me and that vore was something private and intimate, that was the reason for me to feel uncomfortable when other was looking at it to. Almost like watching a porno with your family but without the sexy feeling. I was never feeling aroused when watched vore back then. It was only this weird feeling in my tummy. Butterflies? The non sexual part of vore is not gone. Even when i'm not horny I think about vore as something that is really cozy, exiting and fun.

I think what troubled me more was knowing that vore (although I didn't know it was called vore at the time) was yet another thing that wasn't normal about about me. To this day it drives me nuts, like why am I like this...it feels better knowing I'm not the only one one on earth

When I was a kid I felt embarrassed as hell to say belly. I would read the hell out of a book about a lion eating an entire village at my school even got myself in detention just so i could read it instead of going to recess. Never understood why until I found this site.

By soft vore? Never bothered. Always loved it since the day I was born, and first saw it in a cartoon of the time I believe.

Hard vore? Yeah, always was and equally am at this day... not my thing.

When, I think, I was around 10 years old, I remember watching an Asterix Conquers America movie with my two big sisters and late grandfather. In that movie has a pretty cool vore scene where a tiger/panther or whatever catsy doodle eats a fat dude. Man was that awkward to watch so after that scene, I went to the bathroom. Just had to get away ´cause my face started to blush and eyes tear.I didn't want anyone to see that. And even today if I watch something that has vore in it with someone, it still makes me feel bit embarrassed and awkward.

It kind of depended on the situation but often yes. I mean seeing Sylvester eat Tweety didn't bother me at all, however the Muppet Show skits where a monster ate someone (for example the "inchworm" skit or the "I've got you under my skin" number) scared me when I was very little. Now of course I wish there was more Muppet vore, particularly more female victims. Out of all the Muppet eating skits (and there are a ton) I can only think of 3 involving female characters eaten (2 with Ms. Piggy and one with Cotterpin Doozer)

but back on topic, yeah for years as a kid vore scenes often spooked me then one day I'm watching Ninja Turtles and there's a scene where a giant robotic monster eats April and bam something clicked. I'm no longer scared but instead turned on and from that point forward I loved vore scenes though I did, and still do, keep how much and in what way I like it to myself. My family knows it no longer scares me, but they don't know I'm a voreaphile.

Avereth wrote:I got into it really early myself.

The first thing I recall reading that evoked a response from me that could be considered vorish was something in probably 3rd grade. The teacher had a bookshelf with lots of books for us to read and there was one in an oriental setting in which a man in a village was tormented by terrible dreams caused by 3 demonesses and the creatures they conjured to torment him. He came across a weakened and starving creature that looked somewhat like a mix of a dragon and dog that was known as 'The Dream Eater'. It was able to help him the next time he slept by swallowing the demonesses and their creations whole, and it had a fat belly from it. I dunno how many times I read that story, but I couldn't get enough of that final part with it sleeping with a distended belly.

I also was always hooked on watching crocodiles and snakes on the Discovery channel swallowing things down. I was never disturbed by it but I also kept it secret from anyone else. So in conclusion it never disturbed me at all and I watched or read it at every chance.

I still really wanna find that book, or at least the illustrations. Are you sure you don't remember what it was called?

bugdino wrote:First off, I've been fascinated with dinosaurs. This was something everyone who knew me was aware of, and accepted (Actually played a game called "raptor" with a bunch of girls in 1st and second grade where I was an evil raptor who's goal was to capture and eat them) So no one ever gave me crap about having things eating other things. Then there is fact that I have always taken great satisfaction in eating, to the point that my friends use to make fun of me because I always ed closed my eyes while I savored the flavor of my food.

Damn, same! I used to play raptor with the boys in school, some of whom were into it and played along, and some of whom weren't, which was fine because that made them prey. I was a little shit and loved picking on boys, especially older boys. There was a chunky boy (I was fat too, even then, but I was faster than him) who we always used to chase, making all sorts of gratuitous comments about how he would feed us up to make it through the winter.
But yeah, I was autistically obsessed with dinosaurs and dragons for my entire childhood. We were in a weird sect that believed dinosaurs were the source of dragon myths, and that they interacted with humans and still existed in the world, so dinosaurs and dragons were kind of the same thing to me. My first vore experiences were terrifying recurring nightmares of being graphically swallowed and digested by the child-eating dragon who supposedly lived in the scissors drawer, and I think in retrospect getting really into dinosaurs might have been my way of taming that fear.

And yeah, at some point in my late pre-adolescence, probably when I was hungry and alone in the bush for months at a time (long story), my libido got directed entirely towards eating and food, and has never even swung close to sexual attraction. So I know what you mean about having a reputation surrounding food.

Oh god absolutely, I couldn't tell you how many weird feelings I got as a kid being exposed to vorish material, whether it was a movie, a cartoon, a book, whatever. Especially if there were other people around me, I'd get so embarrassed and have to leave the room, whenever that kind of stuff showed up I felt all squirmy and tingly inside, and I became very excitable, almost hyperactive (I still do to this day as a 22 year old woman lol). It was one of those things that scared me but also fascinated me, like I would burrow under blankets and pretend I was in someone's belly, which is something I still do now. I'd make my stuffed animals eat each other and sometimes stuff them under my shirt to pretend I had eaten them, and I always had fantasies of being kidnapped and eaten by handsome giants, which in retrospective makes sense considering like 95% of what I write is about giant men eating helpless girls

I also had a really weird experience when I was around 13, I had some kind of allergic reaction that made me itch like crazy and I had to go to the hospital, and when I did I was checked out by the doctor, and like he wasn't even that attractive but for days afterwards I had intrusive thoughts in my mind of him eating me, at the time I didn't know what vore was so it really bothered me, I started feeling sexual arousal around that time as well so I thought I was messed up in the head, I felt that way for a long time until I eventually found this place and came to accept myself, my best friend really helped me understand the fetish and learn that it wasn't a bad thing, just a weird kink I'm into~

I didn't even know what vore was until I was over 18, but when I was an edgy teen I was into the gory Sci-Fi channel movies that had people being eaten by monsters.
