How many people are here?
I have an impression not many people are here on this site, especially in the forum. Probably just a hundred or another.
What do you think?

Definitely more than that, an image posted by the artist bigbig 11 hours ago already has over 6000 views.

There are roughly 10,000 user galleries on the site, and you have to specifically ask to get one of those. The number of lurkers is probably greater than the number of people who post content, and internet traffic checkers put the site at an average of about 300,000 visits per month. I think just a hundred is way off as an estimate.

Re: How many people are here?
I don't post on the forums much. I occasionally do so, if a thread is about a topic I like, of has content I like. Occasionally I post on the general "looking for" thread to help someone find something, but that is not often. I comment on content in the galleries much more than I post on the forums. I can find stuff I like more often in the galleries, so that is where I spend more time.
Shhhh!!! Don't say "The emperor has no clothes." it might offend someone.

Re: How many people are here?
This poll will obviously be biased towards more regular users since they're the ones who are likeliest to see it and vote.
Anyways, I've become way more active ever since opening a gallery. I'm excited to get interaction whether in comment sections or in the forums. Before that, I would go weeks or months without Eka's Portal, just getting my share of vore art and roleplay from other sites (I'm also into regular porn too, which plays a factor).

Re: How many people are here?
At the board index page of the forum, there's a statistics section right at the bottom. In it, there's one that says there are about 189 thousand registered users. How many of those accounts haven't visited the site in years, I can't say, but there's definitely a lot of people coming in regularly. As well as them, there is, in all likelihood, just as many unregistered lurkers that visit the site if not more.

It's just one guy moving really, really fast.
"What was it he said that got everyone so upset?"
"Be kind to each other."
"Oh yeah, that'll do it."

I have an impression that most artists just have many galleries for different types of content they make.

I mean we're more of a niche site. So it's not going to be anywhere the levels of FA or DeviantART.

It is my understanding that multiple galleries per person is not allowed on Eka's.
I am usually available for writing commissions concearning most strange ideas your mind can conjure up.
Yes, even that.

I am not sure why an artist would need multiple galleries when splitting up into folders works pretty much the same especially with the level of customizability we're given.

I mostly come here to check the comments on my own submissions, only swing by the forums if i got nothing else to do. Like right now. Pretty much never check the galleries since i never find anything there that suits my taste anyway.

Many reasons! For example:
1. With content splitted into different galleries, subscribers see only the content they like. More motivation to subscribe then. And less motivation to unsubscribe if an artist switched to an undesired type of content for too long.
Splitting can be done by different topics (soft vs hard, clean vs dirty, etc.), by male vs female oriented content, by different drawing styles, etc.
2. Diversifying also gives some privacy to the artists. For example, if a same artist makes 'cheap' and 'expensive' content, people will not see considerably different commission prices nearby and thus will bargain less about that.
3. Or the artist just became more experienced over time and does not want his older work to spoil the first impression of newcomers. So the artist just abandons his old gallery and starts a new one. Especially if this author has been inactive for some time anyway.
4. The gallery just got up too large and inconvenient for survey. Lots of nested subfolders may not be an option for everyone.

How do you think the ability to create multiple galleries affects an artist's relationship with their audience, particularly in terms of subscriber retention and engagement?

Allowing people to follow folders would be a much simpler way to accomplish all this.

I don't think so. We live in a world of virtualization and content bubbles. "One long-term art project -- one gallery" principle follows it the best. It naturally isolates "virtual artists" impersonated by one real artist from each other.
