PSA: PrivateVore on YouTube is selling your art

Postby Bloodhawk757 » Sat Dec 03, 2022 9:32 pm

Hey all, just wanted to give everyone a heads up on a certain individual: PrivateVore.
It’s a YouTube channel with thousands of subscribers that posts freely available art from DeviantArt and from here, without crediting original artists. Now obviously, this happens a lot on YouTube, and I’m guessing most artists don’t bother with copyright claiming these channels.
HOWEVER!
PrivateVore has a Patreon and PayPal donation page. He’s amassed some 50+ patrons with several being in the $49.99 per month tier.

He’s literally selling Vore art that is freely available… he really likes using SaintxTail, Varu, VoraciousMoga and Varu’s artwork.
I highly recommend checking if any of your art is being used and if so reporting his Patreon and videos.

They have a Discord server with ~150 people in it that I've just joined to check it out. I can't see what they're actually offering in the patreon packs and I'm not going to pay them, but their last update message on the discord (which are semi-frequent) includes "-Uploaded total of 1700 Photos to Arts File." So it's not even like anyone could possibly believe that they were maybe commissioning all the work they offer. Although apparently the contents of the packs do include a "Commissions" folder with hundreds of items, so I'm curious what ends up in there.

It might be nice to notify these artists that their art is being commodifird by someone else, seeing as that is illegal.

From a quick skim of the youtube channel I recognized work from Kronguss, 1ZUMY, and SaintxTail, who I've PMed about it. I also saw animations from AbsoluteVL, but got throttled on PMs so can't notify them at the moment.

That being said, I'm suddenly nervous (maybe paranoid) that I'm jumping the gun, despite the collections they're offering on patreon containing thousands of items, hundreds of GB, which means they basically have to include non-permitted work. And despite them openly posting others' work on youtube. Would be good for someone to bite the bullet and take a look at one of their "packs" to have 100% info and know who all is affected before lobbing more (probably justified) accusations.

Their youtube channel was made popular by other's content, serving as the springboard to arrive at their patreon page and also including a paypal.me link in the youtube about page hoping to get money for the stolen content they share. I do not expect any amount of legitimacy in their paid content.

Daymn. People repost others' vore art on YouTube enough, but this paid subscription thing takes it to a whole new level. Has anyone notified the artists PrivateVore's been stealing from? If possible, taking action against this troglodyte seems a good idea. I have no idea if legal action is viable for fetish art being posted for free on the internet, but still. And if the original artists *are* posting some of the stuff behind a paywall and it's stolen? Definitely so.

EDIT: Thinking on it? Yeah, this probably violates Creative Commons or something. I'd say the first big step is the artists notifying Patreon about this. Especially as Patreon did an infamous crackdown on adult content.

Fairly certain it is. Fetish art or not, it's still IP theft, especially if it's being sold for profit.

That is disgusting that someone is profiting from other peoples hard work. The trouble is reporting them removes a lot of the anonymity from artists whose work is being stolen which they may not wish to do. With youtube you can't copyright strike someone without providing your real name and address to both youtube and the person that you are striking, this makes it hard for artists to stop the thief. That leaves methods like this thread to spread the word in the hopes that people won't support the site of the thief. I don't know what Patreon's policies are for reporting copyright abuse.

Patreon makes it seem hard to report but it's not. The report option is hidden unless you're signed in on an account because there's so many fake reports and troll attacks. You can't really do anything unless you're a creator like me who DMCA's and goes further. YT is similar where they sadly don't give a shit unless you're the one who owned the work and are threatening to sue.

https://support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/articles/208377833-How-do-I-send-a-DMCA-takedown-notice-
[email protected]

Send an email to the above and link to https://www.patreon.com/Privatevore . If you're in America, then for DMCA you're 'legally' required to give your real name, and it can appear on some stupid public database etc etc  They send your personal details you filled in there to the person you're threatening to sue with the DMCA and Patreon usually take it down or they can take it down or counter sue. And believe me, only an idiot would counter sue for stolen content.

Kind of a pity he didn't upload any of my work that I can see or I'd go after the money owed to me. Though might take a look through and see what he's got in his online folder when I get time.

It's fun targeting idiots like this guy, he's not the first one to use Patreon this way but I can't do much personally as my stuff isn't there. When you're fuckin dumb enough to add your bank/paypal details to something like Patreon. Depending what country they're in they're very easy to sue, or tell the CCP/Russians if it's got porn. There's another who's been operating around 3 years now and is about 10x bigger than this dude.

The problem is assholes like this thrive because of other idiots trading content trying to get what they want. That's how they build up their collection a lot and then buy every so often and trade the new things. You can tell who they are more easily when they say they'll give you anything you want/a ton of stuff for something new. A lot of kids fall for this and think they don't get caught for piracy too. The collection then gets large enough they don't ever have to spend a cent to get new content.

The reason we have so many creators leaving/not trying/same lame 10min crap of a camera in a mouth or on the floor with gts tag slapped on. Is because of these same dipshits who then cry 'content drought'. You'd make more money making normal porn than you would gts and vore combined unless it's 3D animation. Why bother making anything when tons of randoms steal it and make more money from it than you do, especially when it takes a year to even get back what it cost you usually.

Hi, thanks guys for bringing stuff like this to our attention. Unfortunately, as Black widow mentioned in order to get stuff taken down not only does Youtube require your full legal name and address, once the video gets taken down it displays the full name of the person who did the copyright claim in place of the video instead. Also, Youtube may share your full legal name with the person you are making the copyright strike again, and I'd rather not open up the possibility of getting revenge doxxed (Thanks Youtube.) Honestly, I'm pretty lenient with my art. I don't care if someone wanted to make videos out of what I already have out there for free, but it's pretty rude to not give any credit, and then also open up a Patreon to supposedly raise money to get voice actors. It's just unnecessarily shitty. They could have just asked me for permission, let me set boundaries and rules and I would have signed off on it.

When you see stuff like this and you want to help us out, leave a comment crediting the artist and maybe mention that we have a Patreon or Subscribestar etc. You don't have to post a link, but just let people know that we do have our own subscription places or other galleries if people want to see more of our work. I know it's not most people's problem, but art is my full-time job and I'm the main one who takes care of my family financially so it means a lot when anyone takes the time to call out this kind of stuff. Thank you.

It depends on your country for if you'd be worried about giving real details for legal purposes. There are plenty of creators who use fake ones (especially not residing in America) just to get it taken down. Google/MEGA gets millions of daily DMCA requests and all they do is publish whatever name you put. If someone was dumb enough to counter sue, then you resubmit one with your real details and ask the company to provide the information of the other party. And even then, it's still taken down in the meantime and depending the platform that account can't chuck up anything else or is disabled.

We're not treated like we're human by these people. Sometimes the only choice you've got is to play them at their own game. If someone is still uploading and trying to harass you (90% of people stop when first getting DMCA), just keep doing it and they eventually don't find it worth their time to do. Those who get paid via paypal etc have their legal info/withdrawl point linked to them and they stop quicker.

Ps. Loved your Deli game!

Not sure what you’re getting at, can you clarify? Closest thing I can guess is that one moderator joined at a time within a year of when PrivateVore says they joined the community but that seems like a huge stretch.

All I know is that somebody said something about Stegger or something that sounds like that.
This guy's been doing something like this on and off since 2005.

What do you mean "One of the admins" of this website? There are only two, me and Leshana. And none of us have anything to do with some random ass youtube making claims that are unverifiable.

I'm a little baffled I actually need to say something on this matter after running a non-profit, ad-free, and cut-free site for almost twenty years that I didn't randomly reupload any of your stuff somewhere else and try to sell them.

They look like sockpuppets to me. Both registered this week, no other posts, making wild claims. They're very clearly PrivateVore here trying to cast aspersions on you and Leshana to distract from what they're doing.

They've also registered other accounts (https://aryion.com/g4/user/SpongeButter, https://aryion.com/g4/user/JamKelpi) and tried to spread the same thing via blog posts. The only people they're watching are each other.
