How did you first discover you liked/were into vore?

As the title says, how did you first discover you were into vore or at the very least, liked it? I'm curious as to how you all may have gotten into the community/topic.

For me, I had a recurring dream of being chased by a tiger, and swallowed whole. The dream would always end with a view of it laying on it's side, and I never knew what happened next, but it interested me, even though I had know idea why xD (didn't even know what vore really was back then)

I think i remember this...

When i was in school, i had a uncanny interest in the digestive system but couldn't understand why. We watched a vídeo from Discovery or natgeo with na inside view of the womans mouth while she ate a salada, the i got home and started searching for this documentar and found a clip with only the inside view, when i noticed i was getting rather "excited" and went to the bathroom to touch myself. The very first vore content that i came in contact with was a vídeo of an old comic from RenaAyama and things went a little bit downhill from there...

I discovered the word sometime ago when I was on the internet don't know how young I was though but pretty young, but even before I knew there was a word I was just really fascinated with the digestive system and I also loved when cartoons involved episodes or other media where there was vorish situations.

I don't remember a time I wasn't hardcore into vore, like, as a sexual thing with a very specific motivation (being eaten) as something that motivates my thinking. I'd even secretly make my own tapes of cartoons or movies that have vore and watch it like porn, with this same sense that it needed to be kept seeeecret secret secret.

But knowing it has a name and that it wasn't just me? Or that people object to it more than they object to anything else dirty? That didn't come til I was internettin as a teen-girl, and since furry vore was almost dedicated to m/m vore (or it seemed like it, I know it wasn't but especially for images the good stuff was pretty much m/m only), but since I was going through my yaoi years, I did not give a shit at *all* and ate that up. Pun intended.

I actually thought of cock-vore myself growing up, but, naturally my fixation became m/m cockvore when I first saw even a smidge of it, and then that became like my obsession for... umn basically forever?

So yeah, finding out about vore as a thing you can search on the internet and find content for? I was a young teen and it was cuz of a sonic comic that had vore, and the comic tagged it as a "vore comic" and that's how I found the name. Before that though I'd seen the word around but thought it referred to a vomiting fetish.

But as for what vore *is* as a thing to be obsessed over, I may practically have been born with the fetish, cuz I've got memories going back forever that still have me as a clear vorarephile. Its crazy.

For me it was the idea of a giant snake. I learned about constrictors, and how they coil and squeeze and then swallow the prey whole. I was hooked at that point. The very thought of that made me weak at the knees!

Right, so I usually don't answer this in much detail, but I'm feeling like storytime, so why not. Fair warning, there will be references to some fairly bloody gore art here.

Back in college, I became embroiled in online RP through an old forum that had an RP subforum. I'd become disenfranchised with the content of what I was getting around the same time that I started frequenting old mIRC chatrooms on various fandoms. A couple of the really old salts liked to gorespam to get the newbies to go away, and one day one of them posted an image of an anime character being skewered by a dildo. I still actually vividly remember the old image though I haven't found it in years. It was one of the earliest guro pieces. I was utterly horrified by the sight of it and fled the chat for the rest of the day, but came back out of a demented urge to prove that I was tougher stuff than the ones who never came back. Honestly, the guys were mostly just asshats. However they'd occasionally keep up with the gorespam and I found myself horrified and at the same time a bit like someone watching a car accident from the side of the road. I couldn't tear my eyes away.

One of the denizens of that old IRC chat, when I lamented how hard it was to find good, consistent RP, told me that I wasn't going to really find it here, but instead should hit up MUCKs. Now, I hadn't done that in a couple years. They were basically multi-player ZORK and frustratingly difficult to navigate with too few players, but I took their suggestion regardless and visited FurryMUCK, initially with a Tanuki character and a Yuan-Ti, both of which I still play very rarely when it is desired by people. They got very poor traction, though that seemed to be the rooms I was visiting. Looking out of curiosity for some of the more BDSM material, I went hunting around and stumbled on a location called "Hell" based loosely on Dante's Inferno. About this time, I brought Samantha Grey into Furry, and found some of the adjacent territories to hell. This got me into my first violent RP scene. I found it a little fascinating and tried more with one or two of the more possessive but not assholish partners there, though I was finding that FurryMUCK didn't have enough traction for my taste. Again, it was recommended I try somewhere else. TapestriesMUCK.

This is where 'vore finally came into play. When I went to Tapestries, I was finally past rubbernecking horrifying incidents and interested in seeing them play out. I gave Sam elven features (to salvage the rules of Taps at the time) and went hunting around for snuff RP locales. I found several, and through one set of them stumbled on Omega's Bar at the basement of this forgotten little hell hole nobody ever used for anything else, alongside the Feedery Barn. I didn't initially spend much time there, but I found that a giant snake eating my character whole was effective at getting the macabre horror that I liked, even if it risked being a touch repetitive. However, the distinction was that I could get consistent violent and horrifying RP so long as I was willing to play it as my character eating or getting eaten. I struck up several conversations with Omega (who is actually a very nice person with a great deal of experience in terms of online etiquette, and from whom I had to learn several lessons before I came here), who ultimately recommended Eka's Portal since YumChat had recently collapsed, back in '06 or so. I came over here, porting a couple my oldest furry characters and Samantha, and the rest as they said is history.

(I may have had some earlier interest in perilous situations from my high school years, which were played out from old RP books like Grail Quest and the like, and my earliest earliest exposure to guro art of a non-erotic fashion was the lead character's had exploding in graphic detail in one of those books [Your head esplody is a very old meme because of that book]. It did not gel into active interest, however, until College.)

My idea of a giant snake eating me actually stemmed from my earlier fantasies. Those were QUITE gory, involving me being slowly crushed to death. Later, I started to imagine being crushed ALIVE, in such a way that only my lower half was mangled and my chest was left mostly intact. (This was so I could live for a while, in agony, wishing I was dead!) The snake thing kinda meshed with that idea. I didn't know how the constrictors squeezed their prey, so I imagined that they actually squished me from the waist down, and then, after I was immobilized but still alive, they swallowed me whole.

It's been a while back. Around when I was in my mid teens. By that time, I was into creepypasta generally. Searching video, stories, and images, I eventually found something that wasn't really related to creepypasta but something else. It was some random image drawing of lucario vore during the time when I searched for pokemon creepypasta. Nonetheless, I got interested and followed deeper into the link.
Eventually I lost interest in creepypasta, and now was into vore. I always been into vore since a kid, it's just I thought I was completely alone in this interest. Glad there was a community for it. ; )

Legit, I was looking up pictures of sergals so I could have something to use as a cover image for a little story I was writing. Came across one of a sergal pulling the whole "Godzilla 2000 Alien thing" where it hacks up its stomach and eats people with it. The sergal in question was a HUGE black and white male who barfed up his stomach, it split open like the alien things did, engulfed some random person, I think another sergal, and retracted into its mouth and stomach. It wasn't gory or anything, but I followed it down a rabbit hole that lead here and I've been caught in the snare of Vore ever since. Vore actually came before MLP for me, so I've been a Vore Pred before becoming a Brony, so naturally the two fandoms meshed for me.

Well, I've always been low-key into vore, but I never quite realized it. As a kid, the monsters in the fantastic imaginary games I would play, if they caught you, they would eat you. I almost always "accidentally" tripped and would get eaten by this monster. I used to think I did this because always winning was boring. Like many of the above, didn't realize I was into it until much later; Finding images of it while going through other porn, and even then taking a long time to realise I was into it; but looking back I can see myself being fascinated with it long before puberty; the earliest examples I can think of besides the occasional cartoon scene being on neopets of all thigns.
