I have began a rather large fan comic

Postby servomoore » Mon Dec 25, 2006 7:00 pm

Because I have just come home (as much as I can call this dorm room "home") and now have nothing to do, I figured I might as well mention here that I have begun training myself to adapt the Karbo style for a fan comic in his honor I will be calling "WHEN A MAN LOVES A NAGA..." about Crisis's meeting with a human named Scarecrow and the relationship that develops from there.

I have the entire series planned out in terms of visuals and content, it's just a matter of teaching myself to draw properly with the Wacom (at which I am currently crap) and getting color layering properly that is holding me back from showing it now.

If you want to see the stories for it, but not the last chapter,

Thank you for your time.

Well, you should make sure I can do a good job before you start feeling honored. I'm still in "crappy novice" stage

We never really get past that to ourselves, my friend. Everyon always feels that their work is second best, or even worse, when compared to anyone else's. Just keep writing/drawing/whatever, because you enjoy doing it. After all, for those of us on the net, it's not about being popular, it's about having a story to tell, and wanting to tell it.

Just in case anyone was waiting for it, my waccom tablet was stolen recently, and while I'm searching for a new one on eBay, I've started rewriting the story.

My drawing skills are really slow in development.

STOLE IT?!?!?! I'll be right back *grabs shotgun and grappling hook* sorry man. I hope you either find another one cheap or find the asshead that stole yours.
Can you dig it?
