Survival guide

Postby Amin » Mon Dec 27, 2010 9:38 am

This may has been mentioned before but I would like to get directed to a Felarya survival guide... If someone has lived long enough to make one... no? Well someone has to do this! Being in Felarya is like being in a fleshy red room and the walls slowly close on you and then they spread acid all over you. Am I going to have to make one myself?!

The idea might be interesting, if the place wasn't such a death world...my advice for surviving there? Reformation. XP

The Felarya Wiki is probably the closest thing to one right now.

Be giant. Be very giant.

That's how you survive in Felarya.
Experiment: Will a grenade kill a giant naga by exploding in its belly?
Test #1: Inconclusive. Grenade exploded in naga''s mouth.
Test #2: Inconclusive. Grenade exploded in naga's throat.
Further tests delayed until another live specimen can be acquired.

hmmm, a survival guide would be awesome. I think a human lost in the jungle with some basic tools and plenty of crafting skill would be able to survive. even make a lil house in the side of a tree or something. (idk but that reminds me of the minecraft guy) :-D

It won't work.

No matter what you come up with there'll be new things to nullify it. Let's say shipments of naga stomach-busting Claymore mines started streaming through the portal behind Negav City. One naga swallows one of those things and kaboom, dead. Before long somehow they'll be rendered totally ineffective. Everything becomes ineffective in Felarya. Except being bigger than your opponent.

You would need a load of wits and be able to act rationally under pressure before you even thought about going there.

Well i wasnt really talking about wepeons, but just if you had some tools and good survival know how you could survive; IF you get lucky. When i say tools i mean stuff that you could get food with, or build a shelter. A strong house built into a tree would be pretty good.

You need to have brains, not just brawns. i may be wrong thou, just my opinion.

Where in Felarya can you put down shelter where big predators won't inevitably wander by and discover you? You might even get caught outside your house looking for food.

If I had a time-machine or some other inter-dimensional vehicle, I would go to Felarya and stay near my vehicle until a naga came within viewing distance, but I would leave pretty quickly. If you had a way of becoming invisible and intangible, that's the only thing I could think of. It would take a high level of sophisticated technology to allow you to survive there.

How to survive Felarya? It's not dissimilar to some other sets of rules.

1st rule of surviving: Don't go to Felarya
2nd rule of surviving: DO NOT go to Felarya
3rd rule of surviving: ???
4th rule of surviving: profit.

Well, I'd say, be immortal and learn to love being digested? :-)

For others:

1. Don't go to Felarya.
2. DO NOT go to Felarya.
3. If you went to Felarya despite rules #1 and #2, leave Felarya. Now, you idiot!
4. Pray to whatever power you believe in, and hope they don't send a Felaryan angel. :-)

Rule 1: Carry a big stick
Rule 2: Actually no, the stick won't work. They've got bigger/better ones and a lot more of them.
Rule 3: Seriously, just don't go there. Don't even put a single foot on the surface. That could probably be traced back to you.

Read that website for the first time and I enjoyed this.
