Re: Survival guide
I've actually managed to get to Felarya and back. Saying that it was a living nightmare is a major understatement. I recorded a log while I was there as well as some survival tips. Sadly, I don't have all of the pages do to some . . . incidents, but what I did manage to retain I found to be pretty useful.
Rule #1: Don't speak unless absolutely necessary (ex: under attack), instead resort to body language or writing in the dirt.
Rule #22: Put out all lights and fires at night. Many of my comrades "disappeared" when the morning came because they neglected this.
Rule #58: Playing dead is ill advised. Chuck learned that the hard way.
Rule #59: Saying that your poisonous is ill advised. Chuck's wife learned that the hard way.
Rule #75: Keep moving. If forced to take shelter in the wilderness, don't make it a habit of staying there more than once.
Rule #172: Whether you're alone or in a group makes little difference. So pick your poison. Unless of course your faster than your friends.
Rule #202: Bring PLENTY of food before the journey. I don't even trust the water here.
Rule #278: Don't trust anyone. Don't trust anyone. Don't trust anyone. (There's a reason why this is 278)
Rule #349: Camouflage is your friend, but it's also the friend of predators.
Rule #452: IDIOT BROUGHT A FLARE GUN!
Rule #473: "Befriend" predators at your own risk.
Rule #578: Don't bother using a map, compass, or even the stars themselves. You WILL get lost.

Lovely responses, and some of you mentioned that you have 'been in and out' of Felarya... how? are some places on the map portals or something...

You have to be really lucky! Fortunately Felarya's spacial dimensions are as strong as wet toilet paper, which explains why it's so easy for creatures from other dimensions to enter by accident. However, getting back out is another issue. The realm of Felarya is in constant flux and find a ... I guess "tear" in the dimensional field is about as easy as finding a grain of salt on a snowy mountain. Not only that, but they disappear just as fast as they spawn.
