In the spirit of the Warhammer 40K thread, anyone wanna chance a guess at how the Vajra (of Macross Frontier fame) would fare trying to settle in Felarya through the two stable portals?

The Vajra decide to make their new home in Felarya
Experiment: Will a grenade kill a giant naga by exploding in its belly?
Test #1: Inconclusive. Grenade exploded in naga''s mouth.
Test #2: Inconclusive. Grenade exploded in naga's throat.
Further tests delayed until another live specimen can be acquired.

mhhh if I remember well this race's power came mainly from their ability to navigate space and attack from there, right ? That advantage would be denied in Felarya, as the world as no proper "space" ^^ ( http://felarya.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page see "Felarya's dimensional plane" )

(Disclaimer: the Vajra aren't particularly aggressive if you don't frak with them first, so don't expect them to be imperialistic and go around slaughtering the locals. They might just look for an unclaimed spot and hunker down. That'll be one place that no human would dare intrude in a hostile manner, though. The question is... what if others decided to intrude on them?)
The restrictions of Felarya's dimensional plane would only negate their interstellar communications. The Vajra use this to help them adapt to new threats, much like the Borg do. Assuming that their fold crystals cannot communicate via simple sight-to-sight (an assumption that appears unproven), the Vajra's starship-busting firepower is internally created, and they're bigger than Battloids, which means they're big; any one Vajra is about half the size of a giantess, or even larger. And they're terrifying in a melee battle. Their armor converts energy and is quite thick. Their battleships can fight in the air, as well as in space. Some of them live on an actual homeworld, which probably means they learned how to fight ground battles before outer space, but they can do either quite well.
Even a sleeping Vajra is by far one, tough meal to nom.
