Hello friends, long time lurker here. Let's skip the formalities and get to the point.
I used to write stories under another penname when I was about fifteen or so. They were not that good, and thats a bit of an understatement. Five years later and I believe I've improved to say the least, and want to have one last whack at Felarya before I go off to the dreaded world known as Art School. But if I'm going to do this, I wanna go out with a bang, something to really help shape Felarya more than it already is.
I wanna do a bit of a backstory on Nemyra, and the whole fairy race in general. Now I know Nemyra is considered a god in the Felaraverse, but she seems different then other guardians. She seems like she has a specific origin, a history of how she came to be ruler of the fairies. I'd like to cover mainly that, and maybe some other unchecked things as well. Now when I'm talking history, I'm not talking about Child-Crisis time, I'm talking about waaaaaay back (Then again, it probably won't matter since Felarya is pretty much "old" even in it's present). This means you probably won't be seeing any familiar characters.
And of course, considering I'm on a vore-themed website, I'm sure some if not most of you want to know if there will be any vore. The answer is yes, but it won't be the central theme. To be honest, the central theme may be a bit stray from common felaryan stories. The story deals with prejudice, but also cultural opinion. Both themes will constantly conflict each throughout the story.
And now I'd like to ask a request, mainly to Karbo. If I were to get this story right, and get your satisfaction, could we perhaps consider it canon(You know, wiki page and all that)? Now I realize this is a bit of a bit of a bold request considering you've never seen any of my work (At least under this penname), but I'm just talking about once the story is finished (Or maybe halfway through if I'm really good). If not, then I'll continue the story, hopefully to change opinion, and if not that, continue on with it anyways.
So what do you think? Should I take a whack at the Felaraverse one last time in hopes of getting something canon?

It does sound like a great idea for a last project, but not if your goal is for it to be a canon history.
If your only hope is to 'get something canon' then no, I don't think that you should. It is one thing to mooch off of an artist's creativity by using his/her character for your own artwork. Proper credit would, of course, be given. However, it is a different matter entirely to be so ballsy as to help an artist in creating what is essentially not yours. The work belongs to the original artist, and I could honestly see that you may be intruding on unwelcome ground if you tried to make this other artist's universe a joint project.
Speaking in less generic terms...I don't know Karbo well at all. I don't know him as an artist (I don't follow his works) and certainly not as a person (never once spoken on a personal level). While I cannot pass judgements for Karbo, I can say that Felarya is his. Writing tales that may have been, such as Crisis in Love, and using his characters in short comics can be great. It's not the same as someone besides Karbo inserting information into the storyline (even if it would be the past).
This is just my opinion. However, I think that writing this story as a non-canon work would be a splendid idea. A flushed out history could be the inspiration for other artists' ideas, and I'm sure the attention and creativity would be appreciated by Karbo.

Underage folks in here scare me. Is there not one place I can go online, or even offline where folks are either eighteen or twenty one years and above?
But, w/e. I just don't want Chris Hansen busting my door down.

Oh no no, I don't want to write the story for any form of fame or anything like that. I just want to leave the community something before I depart from it.

Well I am glad you are feeling like to contribute to Felarya before departing ^_^
However I can't really say yes or no at this point.. this really depends on what you tell in the story
but this is making curious and I am definitely looking forward to it

Don't worry, I don't expect a yes or no at this point. Hopefully this story will work out with you saying yes in the end, and if not, ah well.
And again, I'm not doing this for popularity or anything like that, simply something to leave the community with, shape felarya a bit more, and provide future writers with more content for their own stories.
