All of them.... Its the only choice.

Barbarians, all of you, how the hell do you NOT like all the cheese?

Imagine not liking goat cheese, or cheddar.

ALL CHEESE IS CHEESE.

(this post is for the funny joke, do not get mad, i will destroy a spoon)

None

No fan of cheese. I dont eat pizza because of it. ^^"

Emmentaler

Or at least something similar (Enger)

Emmentaler

This

Mizzithra~

Mizzithra cheese is my favorite; this restaurant I go to always puts it on spaghetti and it's the best~

Provolone! <3

It makes great pizza! Even better than Parmesan...

Limburger

COWER! COWER AND WEEP AT THE HANDS OF THE MIGHTIEST, MOST FOOT-SCENTED CHEESE BORNE FROM THE HANDICRAFT OF MANKIND!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!

Seriously, it's delicious o 3o

Limburger

I have never been so conflicted between eating more, or throwing it as far as I can. There's still a plate siting alone somewhere in my house that has a faint scent of sock...

Ah, limburg cheese.

Gouda

gouda has a slight rubbery texture but is kinda soft and has this subtle but kinda distinct nice cheese flavor in a way much like edam

Mozzarella

It's really good! and on pizza!

Stilton

I like my cheese strong and stanky!

Blue Cheese

I'm sure not many like it... but I like blue cheese.

Brie!

Because it's my IRL nickname! :D

Can we get a new poll

Can we get a new poll sometime soon?

No mozzarella? Really?

IDK; mozzarella's my personal favorite.

oh boy

When I think of cheese I don't think of favorites, I think of future stomache issues and spending hours on "my throne", or the "thunder mug", or whatever you call it. -_-'

Ricotta

Ricotta. It's smooth, creamy, and great on pizza.

Dear God yes. Yeah, Ricotta

Dear God yes.

Yeah, Ricotta is pretty much awesome. But I feel like it's kind of in a different category.

Come to think of it, all these cheeses are in different categories. Each has its own unique ideal culinary purpose. Therefore, it's kind of a moot point to ask someone what their favorite cheese is.

On the other hand, moot points have purposes, too: they're fun. And what's the internet for if not fun?

... Okay, that was a stupid question. But still.

Provo

Yay provolone!

Ricotta FTW

Because manicotti is delicious.

I second this.

I second this.

I feel so alone...

So few people like munster? I would have imagined munster would be a hit.

I feel like there is to much apathy on these forums regarding cheese. It seems odd to me that people don't have stong opinions on this topic.

Cheddar Bias

Cheddar is NOT the preferred cheese by all those people. It all has to do with name recognition and moderates leaning towards that. "I have no convictions about cheese, but I guess I'll pick Cheddar since most of the cheese I ate as a kid is cheddar." BULL.

Man, if Cheddar wasn't on this list (as said before, other obvious candidates like Mozzarella and Parmesan weren't invited to the debate), the vote percentages on the others would be much higher. Or at least, "Any" or "All of them", which are so minutely different that they're functionally the same choice.

Yes, my rage is tongue-in-cheek, but I believe I make valid points.

Meh, you're probably right

Meh, you're probably right for the most part. I, for one, however, picked cheddar because I've tried all the other mentioned cheeses and I like cheddar best.

As for any vs. all of them, I agree, but I think I'll expand on what that's really saying, just for the hell of it. If the poll is asking about /favorite/ cheeses, then to say that all cheeses are your favorite cheese is to say that you like all cheeses equally, whereas to say that any cheese is your favorite cheese seems to imply that your cheese preference changes periodically, but that all cheeses are equally likely to be preferred each time the preference changes, which, in the long run, also implies that you like all cheeses equally. I don't know, maybe you have a cheese calendar or something. And each day it tells you what kind of cheese to have.

Cheshire cheese! Mature

Cheshire cheese!

Mature cheddar is a close second.

I chose cheddar, because

I chose cheddar, because Cheshire wasn't on the list.

Pepperjack!?

Why isn't pepperjack in there? ;-; Or Blue Cheese? Those are the only two kinds of cheese I even like! D:

Yes! Stilton! God's own

Yes! Stilton! God's own cheese!

Also Manchego, which is a shockingly good Spanish cheese. No one knows any other Spanish cheese. That's because they got it right first time with Manchego.

I had to vote for all of 'em.

I had to vote for all of 'em. Because I love cheeses for different things. Even American cheese has its place in the oh so humble comfort food that is the grilled cheese sammich <3

I enjoy Havarti, preferably

I enjoy Havarti, preferably with dill. It's like swiss, which is odd because I don't like swiss, but it comes across so well that I can't help but enjoy it.

What is this, no Gouda? This

What is this, no Gouda? This is an outrage!

^^^ This.

^^^ This.

WTF?!??! NO NACHO, PROCESSED,

WTF?!??! NO NACHO, PROCESSED, OR LIQUID CHEESE!?!?

Nacho, processed, and liquid

Nacho, processed, and liquid cheese is almost always either American or cheddar.  There are a few exceptions, but they are just that: few.

Vendetta!   There are many

Vendetta!

There are many excellent examples of cheddar. Look for small-farm versions for more individual touches. Maturity = flavour.

Vendetta!

No denying it...

Parmigianno-Reggiano. Best cheese in the world. This is indisputable fact.

Brunost

The norwegian brown cheese "Gudbrandsdalsost", or "Brunost" - tastes like caramel. :D

Other

Needs more Pepperjack. :V

Gah, I'm hungry now. ;___;

Pepperjack

This was my vote. So I had to vote "Other" =(

Definitely needs pepperjack.

Definitely needs pepperjack.  I almost voted for swiss but I like provalone too.

Pepperjack > Mozzarella > Provolone > the rest

Pepperjack needs to be shown as it's a beloved niche to those who love a bit of spice, and it's ridiculous that Mozzerella wasn't even one of them invited to this contest either due to its sheer prescence in everyday western cooking. I had to vote for Provolone because it's my go-to whenever Pepperjack isn't an option.

Needs more options!

No option for Wensleydale?
